location : uluru is located in  Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in the southern part of the northern territory and is 335 km south west of Alice springs. it has the coordinates of 25°20′42″S 131°02′10″E

describe unique aspects : Uluru is one of Australia's most recognisable landmarks. formerly known as Ayers rock it is a large sandstone rock formation and is listed as a world heritage site. uluru has great aboriginal significance as they believe that the spirits of there ancestors live in this rock. uluru is known for changing the colour of the sky depending on the time of day resulting in stunning sunsets. many aboriginals lead tours for people about the cave paintings, local fauna and flora, bush foods and there dream time stories.
